"Employer's Edge makes a difference for individual employees and the workplace. It has been amazing to watch the effects of this program on our office. Employees are making healthier food choices and finding their own ways to work some exercise into their workday. The various opportunities allow one to pick what aspects of the program can fit into your lifestyle and help you to start making changes. “I only started at McKay-Cocker in Jan. and I was determined to quit smoking and start working out to put on some healthy weight the first part of this year. When I learned that M-C was bringing Employer’s Edge into the work environment to help I was thrilled as I had no idea how to gain weight and it was a long while since I had been to the gym. I now go to the gym 5 days a week at lunchtime and sometimes once on the weekend. I feel the best I have in years, with not smoking since Sat. Mar. 25/06, working out and trying my best to eat right. In the past 9 weeks since I started working out I have gained 30 pounds and I wouldn’t mind gaining another 30 as long as I keep it off my stomach. I just want to say thanks, and hopefully I can keep this exercise in my day-to-day routine.”
