What our clients are saying:

EDGE Group Exercise

“I wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed both the running and yoga programs.  Finding time in exercise around two young children is a challenge, and I needed the 'push' to get me going on the lunch hour.  I feel better and find my afternoons to be much more productive.”

-Nancy, Lerners

“The consultant’s enthusiasm in contagious! It is not just her positive approach but her in-depth knowledge on a wide range of aspects of well-being that have made a significant impact on our firm as a whole. Her skills range from designing one on one fitness programs to collective seminars on stress management and nutrition. Whether it be programs targeted to the skiers or golfers in the office or broader classes involving Tai Chi, the participation rate by not only those who have been active as athletes to those of us who are unlikely candidates having never made time for fitness in the past, is outstanding. What is particularly impressive is that Employer’s Edge is able to continually inspire people to maintain their involvement in fitness and nutrition which not only benefits our workplace but life beyond work!”

-Participant, London, Ontario

“…I've joined the Learn to Run program - not because I needed to learn to run, but because it's way more motivating exercising with a group of people!
Thanks for all your awesome group and individualized programs!”

- Jenn, Children’s Aid Society

“I am participating in the running clinic and so far so good. I am really motivated to exercise right now. The programs being offered are great! I would love to go to Yoga but it is offered at the same time as the running. Oh well can't please all of the people all of the time. I'm glad that Employer’s Edge is on board with CAS!!!
Thanks!”

- Leigh-Anne, Children’s Aid Society

“Even at 48 it is not too late!!  I have never been a runner - in fact I had a somewhat "negative attitude" towards runners and running.  I would look at people running in the winter time and immediately think that they were....well, nuts!  Employer’s Edge totally changed that way of thinking for me.  Through their build up slowly coaching, their constant support and encouragement, and knowledgeable training tips, I have become a "runner".  I am not running marathons but I have been steadily running three times a week for almost a year now.  It is still a challenge for me but at the same time I feel such a sense of accomplishment when I am finished.  I feel so much better now too.  I am keeping my weight under control, I have more energy, and I feel stronger with each passing month.   Taking the first step to join the program was a struggle for me but that is the only step I have had to take on my own. They have been with me every step of the way and I couldn't have done it without them!”

-Helen, Accounting, Lerners

“I receive healthy recipe ideas and new exercises for my "trouble spots"  I have changed my diet as well as my family's.  With Employer’s Edge I have my own personal trainer and nutritionist!!  I started running with the consultant as well.  I learned to run in winter and in the heat of the summer.  If I ever had an ache or pain, the consultant would know exactly why - "you need different shoes, you need to relax your shoulders".  I tried running before but could never get my endurance up for more than 15 minutes.  I can now run 5k's no problem and am working towards 10!  Thank you Employer’s Edge!”

"The exercise programs, such as yoga and learn to run, are tremendous assets to the Employer's Edge programming.  They provide you with the opportunity and motivation to participate in a fitness program at your own speed in a supportive environment.  They show you how you can get that important exercise without sacrificing your work, or vice versa.  Not only do they inspire you to challenge and grow beyond your own limits, but the group participation also builds spirit and camaraderie among your co-workers."

-Kelly, Insurance Defence and Health Law, Lerners

“Enjoying the practice of yoga is a wonderful way to spend you lunch hour.  You get to stretch out all the tension from your morning of sitting stationary at your desk and go back to work feeling relaxed and invigorated at the same time!”

-Kim, Legal Assistant, Lerners

“The Exercise Classes with our consultant are anything but boring.  Her enthusiasm boosts our drive to enhance our cardio and muscle strength.  The variety of techniques and programs offered allow us to target different sections of the body (hips, butts, thighs).  The noon-hour classes are an excellent way to de-stress and relax while increasing flexibility and endurance.  Definitely time well spent as the rewards are exponential in terms of health, happiness and productivity.”
